Sourdough 101

You've been asking and it is finally here! You will leave this class confident to tackle sourdough at home. See registration page for full class description. While this class cannot be made gluten free, many people with gluten interolerances are able to eat sourdough that has an extended fermentation time of 72 hours.
Additional Information
This class is much more information based than active hands on as the sourdough process does not have much active time. Sourdough is a multi day process and we will be completing different steps of the process where we can. You will learn how to maintain your starter, the autolysing process, kneading, stretch and folds, pre shaping, shaping, scoring, and baking. You will leave with sourdough starter, a baked loaf, and a loaf to bake off at home. We will discuss adapting recipes for your equipment at home, troubleshooting, and more!
